ThinkPinkFloyd Shows

September 6, 2008 Beef n Beer Glenside, PA

It was a rainy and stormy night but the fans braved the weather and came out to see the band. The stage setup was perfect, the lighting show incredible as the lights dimmed and the band kicked into their first song of the night, What Do You Want From Me. Fans were getting up and dancing the night away as from the start of the show until the last song of the night. The sound was amazing that night as people danced and sang along with the band. The music was mesmerizing throughout each song. It was a perfect night to hang out and listen to them rock the house. Just goes to show you that true ThinkPinkFloyd fans will brave any kind of weather to catch the Ultimate Tribute Band pay tribute to the music of Pink Floyd.

A perfect night for the show. People began coming in about an hour before show time all trying to get the b
est tables near the stage. Of course I have the best seat in the house hehe but I need to since I take the photographs of them as they play. The bar begins filling up as fans patiently wait for their favorite bands show to start. It was a crazy night once the lights went down and the band began playing. As they kick into the opening song people are singing along with them as they try to move closer to the stage. People were dancing, going nuts as the band debuted them singing Young Lust. The crowd went wild as the first chords of the song started out. I had people coming up to my table as I sat and took pictures asking me about the band wanting to find out as much about them as possible. People who weren’t even big Pink Floyd fans became ones that night as ThinkPinkFloyd kicked ass on every song they did. I walked around with the email list had people signing up like crazy wanting to know everything about the band. At the end of the night people were yelling Encore, Encore we want more but unfortunately it was closing time so there was no time for anymore songs. Another success, awesome music, the light show was amazing, the fog machine creating a mystical atmosphere and of course the Teacher puppet was there dancing along. There is no way you can leave a ThinkPinkFloyd show not craving more of the magic they weave.

Ok ThinkPinkFloyd are very well known at Sweeney’s. Tonight we have a packed house here as they patiently wait for the show to begin. I of course didn’t end up at the best table but no one really minded when I needed to cut in front of them to take pictures. The house lights dim, the band kicks into their opening song, people are on their feet singing along with the band. The sound is perfect, the band are singing their hearts out encouraging the fans to join in. Honestly it didn’t take much, their fans worship them as I do. We have people dancing around anywhere there is an open spot, people up at the stage fists raised in the air worshipping these rock and roll gods for giving them the music of Pink Floyd. I start working the room, talking to the people, listening to their stories and love of this band. These fans will be at every show they just can’t get enough of their favorite tribute band and I must agree with them because they do kick ass. They love their fans, during set breaks they walk around talking to everyone, pose for pictures with their fans etc…. They take the time out to make everyone feel like they are friends, thank them for their support. I mean this band truly cares about their fans and many of those fans have become great friends with the band. Another awesome night, ThinkPinkFloyd rocks my world!!!

It’s Halloween and ThinkPinkFloyd are ready to celebrate the holiday. All the band members are dressed in costumes and so I am. They all look awesome!! The stage is set up perfectly, the bar is decorated, mostly everyone in there is dressed up for Halloween. You can feel the excitement in the air as it gets closer to show time, it’s a magical night. The lights start to dim and the fans go wild when they hear the music start. The place is packed standing room only when the show begins, clapping and whistling is heard as the band end each song and begin another. I walk around talking to the fans, they are psyched, loving the costumes, loving the music, telling me about their love for this band. The mailing list fills up like crazy as the band plays what these people desire. Once again ThinkPinkFloyd has given over 100% to their fans, it was one awesome night!!!

It’s a miserable rainy night but the show must go on. As I walk into the bar you can feel the energy and excitement in the air. The place is already packed with fans as they watch the band finish setting up. I see a lot of fans there and stop and greet them as I make my way towards my reserved seat. The lights go down and the magic begins, the amazing light show, the music begins softly at first but becomes louder and more intense as they kick into their first song of the night. Fans are going wild, dancing and high fiving each other as the band plays all their favorites. Break time was crazy, fans wanting to get their pictures taken, wanting to talk to the band members, some even ran on stage lol As fans signed up for the email list they were writing down their favorite songs they wanted to hear as I passed this information on to the band. I will let you in on a little secret the band is working on some songs that will be debuted at other shows J It was an awesome night one that won’t be easy to forget. The light show, the music, the fog machine, the atmosphere if you haven’t been out to a show yet I definitely suggest you do. Next up is the show before the holidays and we have a special little surprise planned for the fans. Hope to see you all there!!!

December 13, 2008 The Silo Reading, PA

It’s the last show before the holidays and the band is psyched up about this show. The stage is huge, just like a real concert stage it’s that big! When we get there not many people are there yet so we hang out and chill for a bit before show time. I am dressed as Lil Miss Santa and have a huge stocking full of candy bags to hand out to the fans after the show starts. The sound that night was amazing, the band sang and played their hearts out. I walked around introducing myself and handing out the treat bags while answering questions about the band. They gained many new fans that night but due to poor advertising from The Silo the turnout wasn’t as big as we expected. Still another kick ass show and a great way to end the year!!!! So until the next show, Happy Holidays to all and have a safe and Happy New Year!!

Back at home the band is playing at one of their most known places. I arrive early and the place is packed, standing room only and it’s still an hour before show time. You can feel the excitement in the air throughout the whole place. These people want to hear some ThinkPinkFloyd! Before the band started the show I was running around like crazy taking pictures of the band with their fans. As the band takes the stage the crowd goes wild. It was a wild and crazy and fun night. Everyone was singing along with the band, dancing around wherever they could and loving the magical music that this band plays. It was just an awesome show with a huge turnout of fans partying it up while their favorite band played. What an awesome way to start out the new year, everyone and I mean everyone at this show left feeling great and craving more music. A totally magical night it was and the fans are already wishing the next show was sooner. A kick ass night with the Ultimate Pink Floyd Tribute band!!!!!!!! Rock on and hope to see you all at the next show!!!!!!

It’s a beautiful night for the show.  The place is packed as usual while more  people start showing up for the show.  Tonight we have two surprises.  First it’s the debut of the new drummer, Kenny.   Also we have ThinkPinkFloyd t-shirts hung around the stage that are for sale.  You can feel the excitement in the air as I walk around the bar and greet many of the faithful fans who come to almost all the shows.  The stage looks awesome, the band added more lights and it’s just amazing.  Once the show begins it was like entering into a totally different world.  The world of ThinkPinkFloyd!!!!!!!!   The sound is awesome, the lights totally mesmerizing and music of Pink Floyd just captures you.  People were gathering around the stage to dance and sing along with the band.  The sounds of applause after each song was deafening.  These fans were in Pink Floyd heaven and so was I.  It turned to be a perfect night, the fans were psyched and more than satisfied with the concert, the t shirts were a big hit.  It doesn’t get much better than this!!!!!!!!!  Hope to see you all at the next show, Sweeney’s on March 28th.   Rock on and peace out !!

There is only one word I can think of to describe this night,  INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!   This was one perfect night for the band.  The sound and lights were perfect. The vocals were awesome.  The aisle was filled with people dancing. Everyone sang along with the band. We got 22 new fans at the show.  It was just incredible from beginning to end.  The saxophone player, Dan joined the band for the Dark Side of the Moon set and they kicked ass.  It was a great night for the band and all the fans.  I know I won’t forget this show for a long time, it was so perfect.  Don’t forget to mark May 30th on your calendars.  ThinkPinkFloyd will be performing at the Chill Bar that night!!!!!  Take care and until the next show, rock on!!!!!!!!!!!!!
